The borough is known for its concentration of Financial and Insurance businesses and our share of jobs in this sector is almost four times higher than the national average share. The sector employs 8,000 people within Reigate & Banstead which is 11.9% of the total workforce. There are 190 local companies within this sector and many of them are large employers.

Financial and Insurance services help with the making, investment and management of money for both people and organisations; for example, trading shares of a company in the stock market, managing your insurance, pension, or helping you put money away for a rainy day.
